Liit - Helping iPhone photos feel nostalgic
If you’re of my vintage (mid 40s), you may have been gifted any number of photo albums filled with memories of your younger years. Page upon page of developed photos with a nostalgic film aesthetic. There’s something about the colours, clarity (or lack thereof), and look that bring a warm feeling right to my core. Even the little date stamp at the bottom of the photo means something to me.
My mom used a Canon T70 with a 50mm 1.8 that was gifted to her by my father. The amount of photo albums this camera was able to fill... let’s just say, my crawlspace has a dedicated area, and there’s nothing like pulling one out to look through.
I’ve been trying to digitally recreate this look for years and years and years. I feel I’ve used every film emulation software or app available. Nothing ever seemed to do it - until this year when I found Liit.
